Do note that talk (a rumour) to replace the policing course with an Advanced Diploma or something like that. This isn't confirmed information though.

2nd year student here..

There are always rumours being carelessly thrown around. Considering the more popular and alternative path of entry to the police is now referred to as the "Associate Degree in Policing Practice" I find it very difficult to believe that its three year alter-ego would be named an advanced diploma..

Either way, the fact that it has been offered means that new comers will complete the course regardless of any alterations that may occur to the name or structure..

Exactly .. I find it hard to believe that the Policing Degree would be replaced in favour of an advanced dip .. I'm pretty sure what they were planning on doing in the future is replacing the DPP (dip in policing pratice) with the advanced diploma.. this wont really affect uws uni students because the DPP is offered through CSU

a side note... GO 2nd year students! woooot
