Hey I'm doing extension 1 maths in year 11 and its hard! we are doing indices and i get all the basic rules but I'm finding the more advanced stuff annoying cos our teacher isnt really giving me a formula to apply to this stuff and i need to know exact things to look for and apply you know?

so if u no how to do this stuff just any tips for how to simplify these or just what u look for, would be soooo appreciated

sorry I'm new at this blogging stuff so i just made the powers bold and the dot is a multiplication

well for indices a^(m+n)=a^m . a^n
so,

=(2^3)n+2-6(23n+2.2)
..2n.(2^2)n+2

=(2^3)n+2-6(23n+2.2)
...23n+2

=23n+2(2^4-6x2)
...23n+2

=2^4-6x2=4
