Is it true that tutorial and lecture attendance is not compulsory in bba103?

From the unit outline:

"Whilst tutorial attendance is not compulsory, a record of attendance will be kept
and may assist in resolving borderline cases in the final assessment for this unit. "

It also doesn't say anywhere that lecture attendance is compulsory...

I've never encountered a unit that had compulsory lectures. However, some units have no prescribed text or lecture slides, so whilst the lectures may not be compulsory, lecture attendance is your only chance of passing.

Don't waste your time/money at Uni;— attend the lectures if you can.
