Bladerunner.. don't understand the movie? (1 Viewer)

I don't understand the beginning of the movie when Bryant tells Deckard he needs him to retire the Replicants, then Deckard goes to Tyrell Corp. and realises that Rachael is a Replicant but doesn't kill her.. Firstly, why does he go there, and secondly why doesn't he kill her (if that's his job)?

deckard is forced to go there and his job is to kill renegade replicants ie the spastic ones
