Does anyone here meet up with other BOS members to do group studying and things like that? It might be good idea, since we can share resources, notes or whatever. Just a thought of mine, what do you think?

Your profile tells me that you're finishing ur HSC in 2008. Assuming this is correct, are you in Year 11 and over the age of 18?

But to answer the original poster's question, I've done it before... where I've met someone from BOS (YBK to be exact) and we've done simultaneous study at the local library.

Keep in mind though, group study sessions are generally fruitless. Unless, of course, you've got everyone in the group being 200% dedicated to study and not willing to socialise.

You get one disruptive person and the whole concept of "studying" goes down the drain. I always find studying by myself the most productive.

=) I don't think we should meet up to study, we should meet up after exams or whatever to chillax and discuss further study plans for the UPCOMING exams.

Study alone = best.

Yeah, study groups don't bode well for me. A lot of people hate it because they get distracted, but I'm kind of the opposite, in that I do the distracting for my friends. I just can't concentrate on school when there are other people are around and need to talk/move/etc :(

Meet in the geographical centre of Sydney (that's Dundas)

EDIT: According to SMH, Eastwood is Lower North Shore. I can pretend to be rich.

I was kinda like that.

See, I get very "creative" with my study notes and would frequently assign funny voices and even dance moves on occasion to certain quotes/mathematical equations to help me remember them better...

It'd work for me, but my friends either a) laughed at me the entire time, wasting the session, or b) refused to ever study with me again! lol
