how would I account for ionisation rate
Calculate the pH of 0.05 mol L-1 citric acid if it has an ionisation rate of 50%

it basically means that only 50% of all acid molecules gets ionised
So if the concentration of the acid is 0.05, you'd expect the concentration of [H+] to be half of that (ie 0.025)
Now plug this into pH formula to find pH
