Hello!

I need some help finding case studies for marketing for an assignment, could anyone direct me to where I can find some, thanks!

Ah thanks so much, but I needed case studies (on businesses) on marketing management and how it helps them achieve an SCA, I should've mentioned that before sorry
Didn't notice you're in year 11, sorry!

Case studies that satisfy the Preliminary syllabus are harder to find online than those aimed at the HSC syllabus.

No matter, in terms of marketing and SCA, you should focus on businesses like Apple and Coca Cola (the blue parts are links):

Apple Sources of Competitive Advantage
"One major source of competitive advantage for Apple is brand equity. The company has built a very high level of trust in the market."

Apple has established an excellent reputation and a high level of customer trust mainly due to the consistently high quality of their products. However, this is not all. Apple's marketing also plays an important role in making all of this happen. Because Apple is one of the best companies in the world at marketing (including promotion), its marketing campaigns successfully create a positive image of its products in the mind of its customers and consumers in general, which allows Apple to create and maintain a strong customer base. This results in a competitive advantage and can help in boosting sales (particularly during periods where competitors' customer receive significant damage - recall the Samsung Galaxy Note 7).


Coca Cola Sources of Competitive Advantage
"Marketing is also a major strength of Coca Cola which has helped the brand earn a competitive advantage by building a strong image."

Coca Cola spends billions of dollars each year ($4 billion in 2017) on advertising/promotion, which helps in attracting new customers and retain existing customers. Having established a very large customer base over its long years of operations, the company ensures it's creating a positive image of its products in the mind of customers, which serves to further strengthen that customer base, potentially leading to higher sales figures and market share for Coca Cola.
