I've got a speech on change for preliminary adv. english coming up, and the time limit's 3 and a half minutes.

I have an intro + 2 body paragraph points + conclusion atm, which adds up to 650 words.

I already cut down the word count from 800 to 650, do you guys think there's enough time for a 3rd point? Or can I get a good mark with 2 strong) points?

spending on how fast you speak:
- if you speak relatively fast then have 800-850 words
- if you are calm and are able to speak at a nice slow pace then 650 words is fine.
You should kinda base the amount of words in your speech based on your rhythm of speech
but its just one mans opinion.

wait your speech is only 3 and a half minutes so i guess 650 words is just enough

I'd do two strong points imho for a 3.5 minute speech. You don't want to try and fit more for the sake of it, pacing is very important in public speaking.
