didn't try for ext 1 and teacher didn't let me take ext 2( got 50% because I didn't study at all) studied and now find ext pretty fun n adv boring as hell

current subjects: ext 1, math adv, sci ext, eng adv, phy, chem and buisness studies

wish i could replace math adv with ext 2, is it possible, or too late 🤔 term 1 already over and j did good in ext 1. adv is so boring😔I hate financials maths. it's gonna be term 2 soon, will enough begging work to switch to ext 2 ??

Try changing if you think it'll make ur atar better (which in this case, no doubt).
But if you think you'll struggle w/ ext 2, then stick to adv.

I think the trickiest part is if the Extn 2 class has already completed an assessment task (topic test or assignment) because in such a scenario, what would the teacher submit for your mark, which would go towards your internal HSC mark?? If no assessment task has yet been completed, you should approach the teacher/head of maths dept ASAP. I guess even if an assessment task has been competed, you could negotiate some sort of make-up assessment task, but that may be trickier to get approval.

PS, if you’d probably still have to attend advance maths classes and complete their assessment tasks even if you are doing Extn 2 - the only difference would be that the marks wouldn’t count.
