hey yall i know this is a big ask but can someone post like the formulas or eg's of all the calculations we are ment to know of. I know a few but i dont know anything for the prelim course invoving molarity and moles ect except a bit that i hav learn this yr. + i dont have my yr 11 text either

Moles:

n=m/M

Molarity: c=n/V

Where m is mass and M is molecuar mass.

So to find the amount of moles in 12 grams of carbon: 12/12 = 1, so 1 mole, which is 6.0221*10^23.

I think.

Also delta H = m*C*(delta T)
Where delta H = the change in heat
m = mass
C = specific heat capacity
And delta T is the change in temperature.

For example, to find the change in heat of 15 millilitres of water as the temperature increases from 25 to 35:
delta H = 0.015 * 4.2*10^3 * 10 = 15 * 42 = 420 + 210 = 630 kilojoules
