Really enjoying business this year, aiming for a HSC mark of mid to high band 6

Anyway with the case studies, I am doing 1 case study throughout the whole year (Frozen Yogurt Business) as well as doing 1-2 specific businesses per topic which I am currently trying to work out for operations.

With operations I am trying to cover ALL aspects of the syllabus, which means I would need one business that fits into cost leadership, another that fits into good/service differentiations as well as one that provides goods and another that provides services.

For operations, would it be bad if both my case studies are on goods based businesses (thinking of doing Apple as the second one), or do I need one that focuses on goods and another one that focuses on services?

Apple is the one our Business Studies classes do. I think its a pretty stable case study - you can refer to both its products and its services, well, because it does have both.

Have a main case study - Apple - and then smaller contemporary issues as a back up. You shouldn't have too many case studies, they are merely a part of the syllabus and are not entirely important.

Qantas or you are going to have a bad time

You can do as many supplements as you want, but not having Qantas as your case study will be inefficient. (make sure you buy the case study textbook for it)
