Does anyone know how circle geometry relates to the real world?
i've gotta do some class task on how 3 aspects of maths (logarithms, circle geometry and something else - yet to decide) relate to the real world.
anyone got any ideas? and what could i do for the 3rd component?

  • Logarithms are used to express very large or very small numbers in a simpler way i.e. using a logarithmic scale in a graph.

  • Circle Geometry has its applications in the design (e.g. constructing geometrical shapes) and engineering (e.g. building bridges) industries.

  • You could do exponentials as your third topic. They can be used to express the growth of bacteria, population growth, the decay of radioactive material.

Search each of these topics on the net. You'll eventually find what you're looking for.
