How do you prove something is colinear? I never know how to do these Questions.
What are the steps to prove it?

Usually, you would need to assign the two angles (the ones that 'look like they're collinear) values such as x and y.

Then you would have to prove that x+y=180.

What Carrot said is the general method. Just be very careful to avoid circular reasoning-> like a lot of people when they draw the diagram ASSUME that the points are collinear and then deduce things off that -> that's illegal because you are trying to prove its collinear. When you draw your diagram, its normally good to draw two disjointed lines just so you're aware of this
