$z^4-4=(z^2-2)(z^2+2) \\\\ =(z-\sqrt{2})(z+\sqrt{2})(z-\sqrt{2}i)(z+\sqrt{2}i)$

$z^4 - 4$
$= (z^2 - 2)(z^2 + 2)$
$= (z + \sqrt{2})(z - \sqrt{2})(z^2 - 2i^2)$
$= (z + \sqrt{2})(z - \sqrt{2})(z + \sqrt{2}i)(z - \sqrt{2}i)$

nah sorry for being misleading, its (z^2+2)(Z^2-2)=(z+root2)(z-root2)(z+root2i)(z-root2i)
