Hi, when taking any of the computing courses are you required to have your own laptop in tutorials or can you use the ones there? Just wondering if it is worth buying a good laptop for coding or buying a normal/cheap laptop and using the ones there for coding

You can just use the ones there if you're not willing to bring in a laptop. It's sufficient for most purposes (typically programming courses will give you isolated programming problems as tutorial problems, so not bringing your own machine isn't really a loss).

Yeah in the labs you can use the unsw computers for the problems.
