Each head has been assigned a value of 1 and each tail a value of zero, as it says in the first column of part (a). So, you have as your data set:

1, 1, 0, 0, 1, 1, 0, 0, 1, 1, 0​

from which you can calculate the mean (6 on 11) and other statistics.

Note: though this can be done, it is really not the appropriate way to analyse categorical data like this, but since the questions asks you to, you should...

OK to put here in Advanced because Normal Distributions are common content.
