I am going to surfers for schoolies. I was wondering how much past schoolies enthusiasts spent on alcohol and food. I understand that it would vary...but on average how much does it cost?

I an unsure of what amount I am looking at.

Any ideas?

Well from the cruise last year a wild turkey and coke (not premix bottle) would set you back 5 or 5.50 same for rum etc vodka sunrises and the like a little more up to 12 or something for a long island. dont expect it to be cheap.
On top of the cruise cost I spent around 600 which was basically just alcohol and a few black jack sessions..

However you can get one 1125ml botlle on board for around 22.50 for the good stuff too like absolut or jimmy black label, whatever floats your boat.
If you really wanna save you could easily sneek a few bottles in your luggage like a few people i know last year did and cut the need to buy drinks on board, maybe just some cans of coke or something.

well on flights you cant get on the plane drunk and get smashed as such.. you should be able to hang on until you get to a hotel room.. drunkard..

and on cruises it would be expensive.. ?? in theory, because you cant buy grog from anywhere else so they jack up the price??

and buyin grog at home and taking it up is a good idea. since we all know our cheap haunts in our own towns. eg, Dan Murphy's. best. place. ever.

so in the end, if u have the room to pack grog, or u want to buy grog that isnt always readily available (such as a kind of liqueur) then buy at home. if its just normal stuff like beer get it there. im driving to my schoolies so i can pack grog :)
