Has anyone done either of these subjects.
As a mature ager going into 2nd year and I didnt feel confident about essays and critical thinking.
Did these subjects help anyone as students?

I can only speak for Critical Thinking, but it is a very good subject if you want to better organise your logical thinking it absolutely awesome

137 was great. Dissecting arguments. It is not mathematical in the sense that you use calculations, but it has that mathematical logic to it. Some people find it really hard because of that, and they don't do the homework.

A mate is doing it at summer school at the moment.

Ling253 is a pretty easy unit and so is the assessments. You also only have one tutorial every two weeks
