Im in dilemma atm, choosing between chemistry and doing adv/ext 1 maths in yr 12 or just choosing ext1/ext 2 maths. Im concerned if i can cope with the workload of 4unit maths. And im wondering whether the workload of advanced maths (already covered most of the syllabus in tutoring) and chemistry are equivalent or less than 4 unit maths workload.

The subjects im going to keep regardless are:
-engineering studies
-physics
-english advanced (obv)

The subjects i have chosen for yr11:
-engineering studies
-physics
-english advanced
-Ext 1 maths
-Chemistry
-SLR (ignore)
TLDR: The problem is I like chemistry and I'm doing well in maths. Should I do chemistry or work my arse off in maths which will likely help in university (aiming to do engineering).

The best advice I have is just to do the subjects. Im doing similar subjects, and the only way I knew that I was gonna pick up 4u was by seeing how well I was doing in 3u. Realistically chemistry will only require 30mins-1hr per day (from my prelim experience), so I recommend doing both chem and 4u
