I did a critical response for 2009. I didn't declare the word count and can't seem to remember whether or not my teacher stipulated I do it or not. Who did and didn't do it? Does anyone recall if we were supposed to?

Didn't do it, don't think we had to and my teacher didn't say anything about it. *Shrugs* I doubt the markers will pick up people's major works, see that there's no word count, and deduct 5 marks. They read so many of them that they'll automatically realise if it's significantly over/under the word limit.

nope no need to declare - even if you did, if the markers think it's over, they'll count them. our ext 2 teacher has counted words in a mw before as a marker...
The word limit for critical is low low low. Scaring me a bit.
