Do we need to know how to derive the formula for escape velocity? And if we do, what is the derivation?

Should also derive the radius of the earth if you ever need to use it and it is not given

If u think about it logically, kinetic energy is equal to or more than the gravitational force, which is required to escape the gravitational force of the planet ( definition of escape velocity (makes sense)
