I'm currently in year 12 and i have 13 units (which i feel like is too many). I want to drop either Biology or Chemistry but i'm bad at both I failed my first chemistry task which was a practical (most did badly) and i got average marks for my bio practical. I feel like its more realistic for me to improve in Biology than in chemistry, but i'm afraid that i'm doing to many low-scaling subjects and won't achieve my 95+ atar goal.
I'm doing:
Chemistry
Biology
Ancient History
Modern History
Extension History
General Maths 2
Advanced English
I have tried to improve in Chemistry by trying out different tutors and coaching centres but i still struggle so much more than everyone else. I like both subjects (chemistry slightly more than biology) but i defintitely struggle more in chemistry. Is it better to be ranked 1-5/55 in biology or 30/70 for chemistry (still dont understand this scaling thing) ? And which subject do you think i should drop ? thanks guys xx
