I got this question as part of a research assignment,

"Discuss the importance of technology in the determination of the elemental composition of compounds. Include specific examples in your answer."

Anyone got any ideas, thoughts?

I don't really know where to start.

Any help would be good.

Now, if I give you a burger, you ate it and got sick. Then the scientist did a test on the burger, and found lead in it. Would you sue me?

Clearly.

This is just one way which elemental composition of substances can help elucidating causation of diseases.

But the person also asked for "Include specific examples in your answer", doesn't it mean the methods, e.g. AAS, not just a scenario ?
