As title says... does BOS Scale our HSC Marks..
In other words... is the mark averaged from ur exam mark and ur moderated assessment mark then scaled by the BOS?
I've read a sticky in this subforum about raw HSC marks... but I don't quite understand.
E.g. If I achieve a raw HSC Mark of 85 for Chemistry? Does BOS scale this mark, which then determines whether I achieve a band 6 or not?
Or is it simply that my exam mark that I achieve and moderated asessment mark become my final HSC mark, with no scaling done by the Board of Studies?
In simple terms... does the Board of Studies do scaling of raw HSC Marks before they are released to the UAC for the calculation of UAI?
I would appreciate a thorough explanation of this.
