Does the history of chemistry taught in Year 11 matter in Year 12? (2 Viewers)

Hey :)

I was wondering if year 11 history of modules like the history behind the atom and that stuff important for year 12, and hence, the HSC?

Nah you can forget all that. The stuff you need to know is all the conceptual stuff like mole calculations, chemical bonding etc.

My teacher didn't even bother teaching all the historical stuff in year 11.

all the maths and calculations you learn in chemistry in year 11, you will apply again in year 12.

I recommend at least knowing it briefly - they are still allowed to test everything in Year 11.
