Does the PIP affect your school rank? (1 Viewer)

Heyy guys! One quick question- does the Personal Interest Project affect your rank at school in the subject? I just want to make sure of it because I know that the PIP gets submitted straight to the Board of Studies. Thank you )

As far as I know your PIP makes up 40% of your external mark (S&C HSC exam making up the other 60%) - Out of the 50/50 split between internal and external. Hope that helps.

The PIP will make up a significant part of your hsc mark, so yes. I would say if you do well in your PIP your on the right track to getting a good rank. It's better however if the majority of people in your class do well in their PIP like band 6s and high band 5s so in the final hsc, there will be a larger pool of higher marks that BOS can choose from to determine ur mark.
