Hey,
What's the raw hsc mark needed to get an e4 in 3U maths, usually?
And what is it if you take into consideration of a internal rank of 9/60 in a 160s ranked school

Raw is high 50s. You may need to compensate for a potentially low assessment mark, but if the first 9-10 exam marks are surpassing 60/84, then you don't "need" to compensate because you've already locked in an E4 assessment mark.

The raw mark cut-off can be more or less than mid-high 50s. It comes down to the difficulty of the paper - the 2007 paper had a cut-off at 65/84. The 2006 and 2008 paper would have been around 52-53/84 I think.
