Today, i present a site from a very simple principle:

"A blank page consumes an average of 77 Watts for display on your screen with just 52 Watts per page black." (Translation Energy Star Institute of Chicago)

However, the most visited page on the Net is google.com and unfortunately it is a white to 98%!

Here's Google version "black": ecoogle!

The features are completely identical to google.com except colors.

Simply replace your homepage google by that of ecoogle and you can help save just and free energy.

Also available for many languages other than english!

Thank you for the planet ...

The address: com.Ecoogle.net - The search engine ecological in English

Note: It is possible to add this engine to your browser (Internet Explorer or Firefox) via the link at the bottom of the home page! Very convenient!

It's not bullshit. It's true. Technically

The only monitors that benefit from such saving are older CRT monitors.
And even then, the saving is very very small.

Either way, I've know for a fact that "Blackle" is making thousands of dollars a month from Google Adwords revenue.
