Electrical engineering at Usyd (1 Viewer)

Hi I was just wondering if anyone here was studying or had studied ee at university of sydney and if so how is/was it? Cheers

I'm currently going into 3rd year. Alot more maths and computing than people seem to think. The dropout for first year Elec Engineers was about 30% i think (i can't give you exact stats, but there were a fair few that either dropped out totally or transferred to another course). It's a challenging course; lots of coursework usually but if you're motivated you should be alright.

so, why is usyd running basically identical elec subjects? (ELEC2004, ELEC1103)

Demand? Seems like all the students doing courses run by the EIE do elec1103, and everyone else does elec2004.
