Engineering Major Selection Now = Permanent? (1 Viewer)

Recently got into Engineering/ Science @ UNSW and was wondering during the application process, they require a major selection. Though i've subjects taken are uniform across the board for engineering courses so that leaves me to beg the question the selection of a major now. Can you pick a different major at the end of your first year? E.g. Civil --> Petroleum?

Since it is a program change, you can change during the internal program transfer period, but yes, you can change it later.
