she declared that she did not move to australia to be faced with english conditions
i laughed

then laughed some more
I'm in England too now... I'm studying in London for 6 months. It's tres cold but I'm getting used to it, apparently the worst is yet to come, people have been telling me the end of January, early Feb is the coldest time. Eeeek!
ive been to england 5 times.. unfortunately the first two i dont remember cos well i was still in nappiies.
but yeh i go round every 3 years to visit my mum's side from my grandparents to all my aunts and uncles and cousins/
People were right, it's been getting colder! Grr! But at least I'm used to the weather now. There is kinda a novelty factor to having to rug up and wear multiple layers... but the novelty is wearing off lol.
But England is pretty awesome, lots to do etc. The exchange rate is an absolute killer though.
I am going in March...i was meant to be working in the US for 12 months as and Au Pair but reeally hated the social side of it...well lack of it! So i stayed with the family for 1 1/2 months until i just couldn't stand it any longer. Luckly i have rellies in the Us so i have changed my visa and am travelling. I hadn't intended on going to England as i went there last year, but thought if i am this close and the flights are so cheap there i might as well go n see my rellies.
Im in London until Saturday...
I swear I said somewhere else we had to have a BOS meetup in London..
Where abouts are you guys? I'm right at the end of the Piccadilly line..
I'm on the Metropolitan Line.... Northwick Park/Harrow-on-the-hill. If you are bored I won't be doing much on Friday and Saturday I don't think.... you could come to my uni bar, pound a pint night is tomorrow, it's top stuff lol. Harrow is not a very exciting place.
Which end you at... Cockfosters or Hatton Cross/Heathrow?
