im having a listening test of english.

i was just wondering if you guys have any good tips, besides listening.

AND

what sort of techniques would be included in the listening test?

i have one too.. except im in yr 11.. but yeah..
what questions do you get asked..?!
i dont really understand it that much..
also.. it has to relate to shakespeares julius caesar cos thats the topic we're doing atm.. weird..

I did a listenting task for my half-yearlies.

Things to look out for:
effects of sound effects, music, pauses, language techniques and forms.
techniques used to contribute to his/her story.
colloquial language/jargon
themes

actually my listening task was completley different to that (yr 12 advance eng) i had to listen to the text n take heavy notes because i was asked questions about wat the text was about askd precise questions
