amplitude = 1
period = 2pi/pi = 2
So it basically looks like a normal y = cos x graph except on the x axis, the values are still the same without the pi. So instead of x = 2pi in the y = cos x graph giving y = 1, it'd be y = 2 giving y = 1 in the graph y = cos pi x etc etc
But of course, a picture is worth a thousand words
