Our school doesn't start 4 unit until next year, so yeah, you don't have to worry. Except that 4 unit maths is like...art.

If you're an accelerated student, I daresay you ought to be capable of getting your hands on a textbook and studying the Ext- 2 course on your own.

Same here. Will be doing complex numbers for the rest of the term and then a topic test at the end to kick people out.

hmm We'll be finishing complex numbers probably about next week ... but we've also dont graphs. we haven't actually done them but our school taught the same level of hardness in graphing in the 3 unit course to everyone... so we dont have to learn most of it anyway :S

stupid!

Yeh I accelerated 2-unit and am doing 4-unit too, but I don't go to a poor school.
The annoying thing though is that if you do well in the accelerated subjects, there isn't a lot of point in doing 4-unit because your 2u mark won't count.
I reckon you could probably learn the course in 3 terms. We've just done complex numbers this term, and then we'll do the other 7 topics next year, but complex numbers aren't that hard.

You mean public school, right? Sorry that we can't afford $6M gyms and shit like that.

Just teach yourself complex numbers from the resources from here - its easy, you wouldnt need much external help for it.

I only said poor school coz thats what the person who made the topic said. If I had said public school then I would have been assuming that all public schools are poor.

Besides not all rich schools have $6M gyms, in fact I'm pretty sure your school has better facilities than ours.

It depends how your principal spends it...e.g. at my former school, the principal spends most of the money giving the playground terrible makeovers, whilsts hardly anything goes into the decaying ruins of the classrooms...lol
