Hey most of you poets would have read or memorised the Showcase Poetry Collections, i was wondering which ones were your favourites???

2001:
24 Impressionist Preludes
Prism
Fresh Meat

2002:
Paper skin
Scattered Peas

2003:
Hawk in a handsaw?
storm in a tea cup
Serious Banter

2004:
What shall we do tomorrow

Rumours that there will be five poetry for 2005???

My favourite would have to be "Paper Skin" =brilliant, just absoultely definitly not a students work lol. But fantastic, though its very hard to read.

"storm in a tea cup" subtle.

I quite like "Serious Banter and Scattered Peas"

I wish RS were in 2001s... "Prism" very Ani Di Franco (well she did foreword ani)

i have chopped onions

"Serious Banter" was hot
Tian dealt with serious issues in a humourous way.
and the tricks he/she(?) played on us in 'Eve' were great:
"Then again, I like her behind
the wheel"
and
"My friend likes to dance around
In the garden not wearing much
Sunscreen."

I don't do poetry, but I really like Hawk from a Handsaw, especially the part with the big long sentence...can't remember all of it but the end is

and i just tried to hold him together because we can replace the windows the vases but i just wonder what else is broken
Didn't really have time for the other poetry in 2003. Didn't appeal to me as much at all.
