Don't be reluctant to try! We only have a few months to go - you've come this far and you can keep going. How bad is screwing up, to you? My teacher told me today that if you can increase your marks by just a few more, it can make a big change in your UAI. Don't give up now. Mourn the 'bad' assessments and then move on. They should be inspiration for you to work harder, not to stop. :)

There is still time to catch up in the trials and final exams, these two are worth a whopping chunk of your total marks, the HSC alone is half and the trials could be up to a quarter, depending on the weighting that it has at your school. Don't give up.

Medicine is just one long marathon of exams isn't it? And then registration and residency and specialisation and all that....
