If some guy confesses to you, does your heart turn into a mushy puddle?

Obviously, this depends on who the guy is.

Agreed. If he's like really hideous it's like shiverrr but if he's nice/smart/attractive [at least 2 of the 3] then it's meltttt.

Actually, it depends on the person AND the situation.

For example. My (probably exaggerated) responses to situations/people but you get the idea.

Person

Fat person: "eww yuck get away from me"

Yeah I'm scared of fat people. No I'm not sorry if this sounds superficial.

Guy who looks like a terrorist/school shooter (I know one from high school): "i feel disgusted and violated that you even dare to have done what you just did."

He'll proabably shoot me but meh.

Situations

A decent guy friend: "how sweet -melt-" or "how sweet but I only see you as a friend.." Note: "decent" is totally and personally subjective.

A hot stranger: "wtf? did you just escape from a mental institution?"

dont confess your love to the person youve been secretly stalking for the past months after being deluded into thinking that the intimate relationship with them that has been formed in your head will suffice as an acceptable excuse for you to enagage in any social contact with them.

Guy: I have a confession. I'm going to punch your pretty face in then cut out your insides.

People these days cant appreciate the full extent of love and just dive straight for the sex

I'd prefer sex with a decent guy than love from an obsessed stalker.

It depends what he confesses.
If it's his love, yes.
If it's his stalker tendencies, yes.

well it seems the thread has been deleted so im not exactly sure what i posted, but i believe it was something alone the lines of:

go and talk to them and show that youre interested

quite a big difference between "hey, hows it going?" and "i love you and think about you all the time. babies plz"

I've had a few guys confess their undying love (ergh).

...but not really, but my heart hammers really fast - nervous of what he'd do next. You do get flattered and excited, but then you'd prolly realize that you wouldn't want to be with him when you've calmed down.

as poeple have said, it depends on the situation.

i have had really horrible situation for a bad confession (read "why did you break up with your last ex" to get an idea about what it might have been)

but iv had good moments too.

one bad confession i had was a guy admitting to having planned to propose, AFTER i dumped him. i was barely 17, and we had been going out for 2 mnths. (he was only a year older btw) that kind of confession kinda freaked me out, and made me feel guilty. no melt there.
