Everyone uses 'the Siege' simply because it's the best. :)

I also used Add Sex and Stir, because it's second best, and Smaller Fish to Fry...because I randomly picked my third one. For the HSC, I'll only be talking about two though, I think.

Wih regards to the HSC,
My teacher recomends not doing 'The Siege' simply because everyone else does it
Doing the more popular episode increases the competition you are up against making it harder to acieve the higher ranks
Personally, I'm writing about 'Add Sex & Stir' & 'Playing The Ego Card' Although that may change when we have finished watching all the episodes
I'm using these episodes because they relate better to the related material I am using, it might be a good idea to pick the episodes relating to your related material for this task

i think this nights of nights would be the best for this question, but im just not like.... comfortable with that episode... i think i will probably end up using add sex and stir and smaller fish to fry and twist them to somehow fit the question.... somehow...

its best to choose the episodes youre doing according to your related materials. either that or the other way around - your related materials with the episodes. this makes sure you have a common thread to link all the texts together, which gives you more to talk about in the exam.

the standard mix is 2 episodes plus 2 related texts. if you really want to impress (and really love english and know how to manage your time well in the exam) go for 3 episodes, but concentrate on two while spending less time on the 3rd one. that should earn you a couple of brownie points :p
