I'm doing an eng. degree, and I'm only doing 2 subjects this semester, but I need to do 3 so I can get centrelink money. I have a General Elective in 4th year, so am I allowed to do that now and just pick something easy? Also, if I do it and I'm not allowed, would the uni ring me or just let me go and at the end of the degree be all "olol denied"?

pretty sure you just can, like how you can do 3rd yr in 2nd yr, but then my degree is quite accommodating and i have nfi about yours

also, your degree guidelines should tell you what you can and can't pick

edit: can't you do anything, anytime, as long as at the end of the degree it's all there? oh and that you follow course guidelines like making sure you don't do the course if you've done one they have now replaced it with (that doesnt make sense :))? i'm really tired, yay!
