I am in a small predicament. I've been avoiding all this scaling jargon, but now I have a problem.

In our ext 1 class there are only 3 people and I came first, the problem is that the bloke who came second is an absolute gun at English, but the issue with him is that he is having a teen-life crisis - found a gf, hates school, ahtes life etc. But he probably want to go good in the HSC. he is also lazy as anything.

So is there any risk in me giving him my extension notes? Will I get his mark etc, cause I know that if I do give him my notes, he will go real well, but then again, the HSC is a competition about ranks...guidance please.

Thanks.

In the HSC exams you aren't competing against other people at your school, your schoo is competing against the rest of the state. It is in your interests for everyone at your school to go well.
