just wondering guys
if when talking about germany being a toltalitarian state if u need to talk about volksgmeinshaft or just gleichshaltung cause there is limited time to write about both???

You should probably mention both, but you probably don't need a massive amount of detail about volksgemeinshaft, just something which gives the general idea of it.

You would probably have to talk about both...it sbetter to do both breifly than to do one thoroughly and leave the other one out in teh dark - the markers iwl think u dont know it. A totalitarian questin is a huge one - you can write a huge 2000 word essay on it - so if you dont like writing too much, then i suggest u dotn do it if it pops up. But its quite easy if u practise doign one before the exam

why? simple

volksmeirnschaft is the aim, hitler used this idea to create a unified and strong germany.

gleischaltung is the method/process.

thats its explained to the mimimum

Dont discuss them seperatly. The question would be some close to " Discuss how was Germany a Totalitarian State" or something along those lines. mention the in the intro but the body of your essay should focus on specific issues relating to totaltarisim.
