i was looking at the state ranks and realised for some subjects there's only 3 or 4 people listed..
am wondering is it still possible to get 90+ in subjects where there's only like 3 people even if candidature is small, for eg. 50 students?

please help :)

you don't need state ranks to get 90+

state ranks just mean that you did exceptionally well in that particular subject.

Many 99+ UAI people didn't even get a state rank.

Not if only 3 or 4 people get a rank. People will only get ranks if they get 90+ (even if technically they should get a rank), so if there isn't 5, 10 or 20 names, it means that the only people who are listed were those that got 90+.

Btw, congrats namu and dp624 =]

No, its not possible in most cases. It kind of depends on how many stae ranks are eligible to be given out in that subject but usually. To have a state rank, The candidate must have a 90+ in the subject.
