k, i was wondering how to go about approaching questions that ask me to 'Assess' something.

eg. Assess the evidence which indicates increases in atmospheric concentrations of oxides of sulfer and notrogen

BOS definition:
Assess: Make a judgment of value, quality, outcomes, results or size

and its good 2 plan your answer in an exam(as they r usually 4+ marks) before plunging into it

yes, u need to practice these; the templates i personally actually used; there you go, someone did use em

and yeah, u just need to nail down each dot point; so u know what to write if u get it
