hi all,
im doing grade 5 music theory this year and would greatly appreciate answers to the book. so if you possiblly have answers to the Master Your Theory:Grade Five by Dulcie Holland book, then posting the answers would be a great thing to do (y) hehe :p

You don't need answers to be able to do this grade. For the exam, regurgitate all info you know including ranges for woodwind, aria, recitative, minuet and trio etc. etc. You must know all your scales including minor but they'll tend to ask you ones with 5 or more sharps/flats plus intervals (aug/dim). The hardest part is the 8 bar melody writing (composing is best, avoid the voice one) and the harmony cadence (worth 1/3 of the paper). You have to be able to apply the 1C chord and basically churn out as many cadence patterns you know. Are you doing the exam in May? :pirate:
