Hi all, im just wondering whether my teacher is messing me around or whether what he says is true. If I do not get at least a 'C' in each of the H assessables in the syllabus, is it true that I fail the HSC? And if that happens, how would that affect my UAI (if i'd get one at all?) Thanks heaps

What's C and H? You can't fail the HSC, if you do bad in a subject it will negatively affect your UAI.

Even if you have a "bad" internal mark it could mean that your school is setting hard exams, so if you do well in your HSC exams the BOS would consider that factor and do their thing

C might be "Band 3"?

H is definitely the outcomes H1, H2, H3, ... etc.

As pLuvia said, you don't pass or fail the HSC. But your teacher's probably saying that if you consistently get around 60% in your assessment tasks then you're quite likely to get around 60% in your final exam.
