I usually prefer the bands that have diverged from traditional Hardcore Punk, like Napalm Death, and Extreme Noise Terror. I guess you could even say some of Husker Du is based on Hardcore Punk as well.

grindcore haha...

i like gallows...

not a huge fan of traditional hardcore...

but i like prom queen and parkway....for metalcore...
