I'm have a major mental blank and I have a PE assignment due next week, and I can't find the information anywhere I my notes.
I've got to define the nature of the skill (e.g a gold shot)
Does that mean I have to define if it's a open or closed skill/discretre or continuous, or name characteristics that you need (e.g. hand-eye coordination) in order to complete the movement?

Okay, so I found out that the Nature of the Skill means they want to know whether it Open/Closed, Gross/fine and discrete/serial/continous.
New question : Do you think that a netball shot is a gross or fine motor skill?
I think it's gross, but the movement only requires the use of your upper arm muscles and the definition is telling me that "involve large muscle movements, where the major muscle groups are involved. The movements are not very precise", for shooting they'd have to be precise to score a goal though ...

Input would be much appreciated : )

We had this discussion and we believe a netball shot is fine, like ur not using your WHOLE body pretty much fingers + arms.
