ive got my results back for many of my trials tests... and... yeh.. i was just wondering if it is possible for me to get a decent mark after getting almost last (as in i think i got 2nd last in ranking) for economics... if i get a high mark in the hsc test, would i be able to get a decent UAI? since my aim is at least 90... please opinions and thoughts welcome~~ (btw im doing average in maths but i know [very confident] i can get over 90 for both maths 2 unit and ext 1, at least 70 for english although my ranking is midway, and good in the rest of my subjects (around 80ish))

ok umm for economics... well i thought marks didnt matter, only ranking did.. anyways i got like 50% or something.. thats why i got like 2nd last ranking or something... actually ill just ask generally including the above question, what happens if u get very bad (below average marks for all subjects) meaning i get very bad rankings for them, but do very well in the hsc? will i be able to raise my uai significantly? or am i doomed...

it really depends on how your whole grade does.....say the lowest EXAM mark in your grade for economics is 85, then you're still going to get a decent HSC mark for economics.........say the lowest exam mark is like 60, then your low ranking will drag your mark down regardless of your EXAM mark.....but obviously the better you do in the exam, the better your final mark will be.
