Help!!! timetable clash (1 Viewer)

Hi im a new UNSW student and i need help for my timetable. I have finished the 1st semster but i hav a clash ( not a permmited one) for the 2nd semster for the higher physics B (phys1231) and Design for Manufacture (mman1130). The lectures for both subjects are on at the same time on monday. Wat can i do to fix this? Are there going to be changes to these times in the future? Also do i hav to be enrolled in all four of my subjects before im a stundent or can i leave it as it is until next semster?

And does anyone know when student fees are due and how to get the bill?

OMG.. had exact same trouble today...

i managed to do session1 nicely (with friday off ) but then found out, whilst doing session 2, that two of the courses that i should be doing do not match because of a timetable clash! then, i realised that i might have to go back to the drawing board and reschedule the nice session 1 timetable that i had agonised over for hours!

hey, because higher physics 1b is an elective, if worse comes to worse, as a last resort, you might have to give it up, for another elective.. i think.

but try and find some other solution before giving up a course, just cos ur timetables clash!

u could try switching courses in between sessions (provided that this is allowed). so, try putting a course for semester 2 in semester 1, and bring one down to semester 2 from 1.

anyone else have ne ideas?

Higher physics 1b runs in condensed mode over the summer holidays, so you could take it then, if you don't mind totally stuffing up your summer.

will that count as part of ur UOC total?

im doing mechatronics engineering. On the first year planner tool there is no other option other than engineering does that mean i can still go into another course. i enroled in higher physics A in semster 1 so i cant do it again in semster 2.

I have to do Chem1021 in summer, because I made the mistake of picking Geos1111 this term. It's rather annoying it is.

On the plus side, it looks as if the "terms" for summer sessions are shorter then standard sessions by a great deal.
