I need help with this question:

In an experiment, a student added 20.00ml of 0.09mol/L of nitric acid to 25.00ml of 0.11mol/L potassium hydroxide.
a) determine which substance is in excess
b) calculate the vol of 0.1mol/L KOH or HNO3 needed to neutralize the remaining solution

I can do part a, just need help with what to do in part b. I have an idea of what to do but I don't know if it's right. Please help and thanks in advance :)

For A, calculate the number of moles of nitric acid and the number of moles of potassium hydroxide. The one with more is the one in excess.

Then, by minusing the excess moles by the one with lower moles, you can calculate how many hydrogen/hydroxide ions are remaining. Therefore, the number of moles of the opposite acid/base required for neutralization equals the number of remaking ion moles. Then, using the formula V=n/c, the volume of the acid/base required can be calculated.
